Netflix gives only english, danish, finnish, norwegian, german and swedish subtitles if you set your region to Sweden. But if you set it to Türkiye (it is hard to do at at Apple TV), then you have all the subtitle menu.
For web version, I think most of the subtitles are open as well.
So, from my understanding it suppose to be something related to licencing. But really? Are they really reducing cost with that?
