- Orion acquired Netaş’s company NetRD (NetRD Bilgi Teknolojileri ve Telekomünikasyon A.Ş.), which had been developing telecom technologies for operators in markets such as the USA, Canada, and Australia.
- NetRD was part of Netaş’s large telecom R&D ecosystem, known as one of Turkey’s first and major private telecom R&D centers, with decades of ICT expertise
- The transaction brought around 400 highly skilled telecom software engineers in Turkey into Orion’s Digital Product Development division, significantly expanding Orion’s European delivery footprint.
